I head into enemy territory
preaching the gospel
testifying of Jesus’ story
spat at, yelled at
threatened by those who hate
like a samurai, I stay disciplined
not concerned about my fate
I spoke of God’s love
and the Son who died for all
even if the message is ignored
I will stay true to the call
in the faces I see anger and confusion
but in the shadows I see the real foe
that minister of evil, the devil
the wickedness behind this puppet show
witnessing on I must
sharing God’s love with everyone
no soul left behind
for God’s will, will be done
